The Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children hold various educational symposiums and awareness events at the LCC, attracting close to 500 attendees.  They promote the development of community-centred research on violence against women and children.  Their role is to facilitate the cooperation of individuals, groups and institutions representing the diversity of the community to pursue research questions and training opportunities to understand and prevent abuse.

From The Organizer:

The Centre for Research & Education on Violence against Women and Children (CREVAWC), Faculty of Education, the University of Western Ontario would like to acknowledge the London Convention Centre (LCC) as an exceptional venue where groups of all sizes and dimensions can gather.  The CREVAWC has held large and small conferences at the London Convention Centre over the past six years.  The staff at the LCC  go above and beyond to ensure our events have been successful.

It has been a pleasure to work with the professionals at the LCC who anticipate and accommodate the special requests that our Conferences require.  The London community can be proud that we have such “ a gem of a convention centre” located in the heart of our City, not all communities are so fortunate.
