Building Accessibility

RBC Place London is a fully accessible facility. All of our principal entrances are at grade and at level, providing easy access for those with limited mobility. Automatic doors and a large drop-off area in front, combined with wide, well-lit corridors, make visits to our facility comfortable for everyone. All doors provide more than the minimum clearance and there is elevator access to every floor. Some of our back-of-house facilities, due to the specialized demands of event set-up and maintenance, as well as food preparation areas, do require unrestricted mobility.

Bathroom, room and wayfinding signs have large, raised print as well as braille available for individuals with visual impairments. Our main floor salon areas are equipped with a digital hearing assistance system, which allows individuals with digital hearing aids to wirelessly connect to the audio system in the room.

Hearing Induction Loop

The salon spaces include a digital hearing assistance system laid into the floor. This will allow any guests with digital hearing aids to tap directly into the audio system of the event automatically upon stepping into the room.

Elevators & Escalators

Passenger elevators are located in the southeast corner of the building and run from the underground parking garage to the second floor. Escalators are located in the main foyer and
operate between the first and second floors only.

Accessible Parking

Our underground parking lot has accessible parking spaces available on Level 1 Upper, nearest to the elevators.

Accessible/Family Washrooms

Both floors have multiple washrooms with large accessible stalls, as well as separate accessible washrooms with automatic doors. Each accessible washroom is equipped with an emergency button.

Nursing/Quiet Spaces

Whether it's offering a private space to nurse a child or a quiet reprieve if an event becomes too loud or anxiety-inducing, our associates would be happy to direct you to a separate space (subject to availability). Please speak with our Guest Services Coordinator at the front desk or the Event Services Supervisor and they will be happy to help.
